Vasti Torres has won the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American College Personnel Association (ACPA).
Torres is a Professor of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. Her research focuses on marginalized college students and their success, including how identity influences students’ experiences, their academic journeys, and the role institutions can play in helping students be successful.
ACPA–College Student Educators International, is the leading comprehensive student affairs association that advances student affairs and engages students for a lifetime of learning and discovery. Torres will be honored along with other awardees during ACPA’s convention in March.
