Four faculty from the IU School of 91福利社have been named 2026 Fellows by the American Educational Research Association.
Dean Robert Berry, Keith Barton, Jessica Lester, and Vasti Torres were among 34 scholars across the country selected for their exceptional contributions to, and excellence in, education research. Nominated by their peers, the 2026 Fellows were selected by the Fellows Committee and approved by the AERA Council, the association’s elected governing body. They will be inducted during a ceremony at the 2026 Annual Meeting in Los Angeles on April 9.
AERA is the largest national interdisciplinary research association devoted to the scientific study of education and learning. Founded in 1916, AERA advances knowledge about education, encourages scholarly inquiry related to education, and promotes the use of research to improve education and serve the public good.
